Played with Sibel in the Golden Hall

On Monday I was in Stockholm and played with Sibel. A seminar was held in the City Hall, in which eight major contracts between Chinese and Swedish companies were signed. Among the guests were Vice Prime Minister Maud Olofsson, China's Vice President, Hans Vestberg CEO of Ericsson and Leif Ostling CEO of Scania.
At the lunch in the Golden Hall sang Sibel a song in Chinese and her song Make Believe and I Played acoustic guitar.

Watch the video to see a clip from the show.

See you later bye

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
For me 2007 have been a fantastic year and it looks like 2008 is going to be even better. Don't miss to check out the new video clips and pictures in Video and Photo.

What have I been up to since the last time?!

The sickest of the sick people, Jamie Mayer, is home from The States on a short visit. So we have been on tour in Norway, Denmark and Sweden, It's always a great pleasure to play with Jamie.

A positive surprise was Shirley Clamp. A very nice lady with as bad humor as meJ I hope to work with her again.

I got the honor to play with the band Stena Live, instead of their original guitarist Magnus Bengstsson that was on tour with Jill Johnson. The Swedish cult figure Kurt Olsson (Lasse Brandeby) was also joining that gig and performed with some of his oldies.

I did a gig with Lill-Babs and that was all I needed to fall in love with her. She is a crazy 69 year old lady with the biggest heart on earth. We have planned to do a couple of gigs together in summer '08, which I look forward to.

I recently came home from Finland after a tour with The Voice Geir Rönning and his band. For you that don't know who Geir is, look at his homepage -  www.geirronning.com

Then we have Sibel that had her big break after she'd been in the Swedish IDOL. I got the honor to be her bandmaster for the tour 2008. We did our first gig at Ronald McDonald children's hospital in Lund. It's never pleasant to see sick children but it was a wonderful evening. Big thanks to everyone at the hospital and don't miss to vote on Sibel March 1 in the Swedish Eurovision.

25th of December I played with The Live Five on Harrys in Borgholm. Kisthi Tomita and Tommy Denander made a guest appearance with the band. Kisthi sang so the whole place fell apart and Denander played every note that exists, what a great party!

One of my biggest dreams has been to stand on stage with Bobby Kimball (singer in TOTO). A my dream came true live on TV 4, Rikslotteriets gala Våra Eldsjäla, in Globen, Stockholm with Bobby Kimball and Kisthi Tomita. The song is called You're Not A Devil and Tommy Denander plays guitars and the dubble drumming was handled by Daniel Flores and Blacknuss drummer Martin Jonsson. Don't miss to check out duet, under Video.

As you already know have my first album been hard to find after it sold out, if you're not willing to pay a fortune for it on eBay. A remastered version with a bonus song is now out on the market. You can buy it in a lot of places on the net. Just Google and you'll find it.

Best regards, enjoy 2008!!

Tv-Show with Enrique Iglesias!
Hi guys! Time for an update!

I had the honour to gig with megastar Enrique Iglesias in live-television on the Swedish program Bingo-Lotto. It was insanely fun and with him he had Van Romaine (www.vanromaine.com ) on drums and Joe Ayoub (www.joeayoub.com) on bass. Cool, relaxed heroes, check out the pictures and movies from the gig!

Gothia Cup 2007 was as crazy as usual. 50 000 screaming people in the audience and a stunning 2 hour long show. The Swedish "Idol"-hero Sebastian was there and performed his hit "When the night comes falling", which you
can see under Video.

For you Jet Circus-fans out there I can happily announce that I've been in the studio recording guitars on two songs for a new record. The record is still only in the beginning of the progress but I couldn't keep my mouth shut because it sounds so ridiculously good!

At week 50 I'm out on a Finland-tour with Mr. Geir Rönning. So if you're in Finland you have to come by and hear this man sing! For more information visit www.geirronning.com and don't miss Geirs new album where I'm aboard playing guitar.

I have also put up some pictures from Hafjäll with The Bigger Bang (Mikael Erlandsson on song, Joel Starander on bass Marcus Liljeqvist on drums and myself on guitar.

October 14 you can you see me at Bingo-Lotto again where I will play behind Katie Melua. For you who doesn't know who this lady is, check out www.katiemelua.com.

See you on the road... Sayit

Geir Rönning at Roadside studio
Mar 29 2007
Hi! I'm Alive! =)

It's been a while since my last update. Been very busy touring and recording. Here's a short summary of what I've been up to:

Gothia Cup 2006. As fantastic as ever! This year I got the honour to accompany Cameron Cartio with the summerhit "Henna". I wish Cameron all the best for the future. Don't miss the clip under video.

In the end of the summer of 2006 I played with Geir Rönning at the Norrköpingsfestivalen. I've said it beforde but I'm gonna say it again; Geir is the best singer in the world! Check out the clip under video.

I'm on Liberty n' Justice's new album. The musicians along with me on the song, Walk the dead, are: S. Gomér (lead vocals, bass), Tony Carey from Rainbow (keyboards, background vocals) and Michael Ulvsgärd from Jerusalem (drums).

Sandra Oxenryd won Fame Factory 2005 and represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest the same year. An incredibly talented artist which I got the honour to play with. You can see it under live clips.

The song Värsta schlagern with Markoolio and Linda Bengtzing is on everybodys lips in Sweden. I was performing the song with them on the show Bingo-Lotto.

Last week I recorded guitars on four songs on Geir Rönnings new norwegian album. It's planned to be released by the end of the summer. You can see a clip from the recording session under video. It's the outro-solo from the song "Carmen". However we we're not satisfied with the guitar sound, so we re-recorded it and the final result will you be able to hear on the album. For you all who doesn't know who Geir Rönning is, please visit www.geirronning.com.

Also I have participated on other great records lately. But where artists and record labels have asked me not to release any info about those records until they have their press releases. I'm feeling very proud to participate on these records and as soon I can give you info about them, you can read about it here.

Furthermore, I'm writing songs for my new Sayit album. I'm a a bit indecisive about the direction of the album. But I can tell you that Geir Rönning and Kee Marcello (Europe) has been involved in the songwriting. So check out the new videos and pictures and be sure to write something nice in the guestbook.

Enjoy the spring!
